1) Choose the photograph you would like reproduced as a charcoal portrait. Close-ups with good detail of the eyes give the ideal results. Hard copies are best at sizes between 5"x7" and 8"x10". Digital photos are best at high resolutions. Small photos or low resolution digital photos are very difficult to enlarge due to blurring and pixelation. If you have one face from one photo and another face from another photo, I can Photoshop them together to make a single portrait. I'm happy to review your photos with you to help you make the best choice.
2) Call 770-516-7390 or email me at pattispalette@comcast.net to discuss your needs and date required. Lead times will vary depending on my other commitments, but you should expect a minimum of two weeks for me to complete your portrait. Since framing is not included (very difficult to ship glass without breakage!), keep in mind that you will need to allow 1-2 weeks for a local frame shop to prepare a custom mat/frame. However, I do size my portraits to fit standard frame sizes, and you can purchase these inexpensively from many local stores.
3) Send your photograph and payment by postal mail to Patti Gettinger Art Studio, Inc., 5194 Lupine Lane, Acworth, GA 30102. Digital photos can be emailed to pattispalette@comcast.net. Make checks payable to Patti Gettinger Art Studio, Inc., or pay by credit card or bank transfer via PayPal using the "add to cart" buttons below. Prices below include shipping and handling. Cobb County GA sales tax of 6% will be added at checkout for Georgia residents. Fed Ex Overnight Priority is an extra charge.
