What methods of payment can I use for my purchase?

For most payments, simply select "Add to Cart" using the PayPal option.  If you do not have a PayPal account, you will be prompted to sign up for one.  If you do not wish to use PayPal, you may mail a check, including your mailing address (no PO boxes accepted), phone number and email address.  Please note that  I will not ship your item until your check has cleared the bank and I have confirmed your address.  At present, I do not accept money orders or cashiers checks nor ship COD.

Do you ship internationally?

At present, I am only able to ship to the US and Canada.  If you live elsewhere, please email me to see if arrangements can be made to accommodate your order.

bullet

Will I receive an email confirmation when I place an online order?

Yes.  You will receive an email from PayPal at the time your order is placed.  When your order is shipped, you will receive an email from me providing a tracking number so that you can check on the progress of your shipment.

How will my purchase be packaged for shipping?

Normally, watercolors and Giclee reproductions will be inserted in a plastic bag and shipped in a Stay FlatsTM envelope (will not bend or crush).  However, occasionally some works may be shipped with foamboard and an acid-free acetate covering inside a corrugated fold-over mailer. Acrylics on canvas are stretched on frames, and must be shipped in a corrugated box with corrugated corner edge protectors.

What method of shipping will you use?

Your purchase will be shipped by either UPS or Federal Express in order to provide you with tracking numbers.  Both normal delivery and expedited delivery are available.  Please note that orders cannot be shipped to a post office box since this type of address is not accepted by these shipping companies.  Please note that all orders require a signature.

Is there a shipping and handling charge?  Sales tax?

Shipping and handling charges are already included in the price listed for each item.  Customers in Georgia will incur an additional 6% sales tax.

bullet

How long will it take to receive my order?

Please allow 7-14 days to receive your order.  Every effort is made to ship within 7 days of receipt of payment.

What is your return policy?

It is my goal that you are 100% satisfied with your purchase so that you will return again as new works become available.  If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, please email me to receive a return authorization, which refunds your purchase price less shipping & handling.  Your purchase must be shipped back to me within 7 days of original delivery,  in the original packaging materials along with your return authorization, and the certificate of authenticity (if applicable).  Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges.

bulletWhat is a Giclee print?

Giclee (pronounced Zhee-clay) is a French word meaning "to spray or squirt."  In the case of fine art prints, it refers to the spraying of ink, or the printing process for reproducing art originals.  This method of reproduction is accepted as the closest duplicate to the original as technologically possible.  The original image is scanned to create a digital file that is then output on a high quality printer.  A color proof is produced and approved by the artist or adjusted to achieve the most accurate representation of the original work based on the paper or canvas used.  Once the proof is approved, all prints are made to these exacting standards.

bulletWhat is an artist proof?

An artist proof is the first print(s) produced in the reproduction.  It is the color proof the artist uses to ensure the accuracy of the print.  Works signed A/P are artist's proofs.

bulletWhat is a limited edition?

In a limited edition, a pre-determined number of reproductions is set by the artist.  It is a promise that once this number of prints has been sold, no future prints will be made.  Each print is approved, numbered and signed by the artist.  For example, in a limited edition of 50, the first print would be numbered 1/50, the second print 2/50 and so forth until 50/50.  The value of your purchased print increases once the edition is sold out.  By providing your contact information to the artist, the artist can advise you when the edition is sold out, or closed.

bullet What is a Certificate of Authenticity?

A Certificate of Authenticity is your guarantee that your print is authentic.  It contains the name of the work, the artist, the number of the print, the total number of prints in the limited edition, and the artist's signature verifying the information is accurate and that the print has been inspected by the artist.  Should you ever wish to re-sell your artwork for a higher value, the certificate attests to the work's authenticity.
